Guide
The XAT 2027 admit card is tentatively scheduled from 20 December 2026 on the official XAT website. The exam itself is scheduled for 3 January 2027, 2:00–5:00 PM.
What to check on the admit card
Verify your name, photograph, registration details, test city/centre, reporting time and exam instructions immediately after downloading it. If any detail looks wrong, raise the query through the official XAT dashboard rather than waiting until exam day.
Exam-day file
Carry the printed admit card and the original identity document required by the current instructions. Read the reporting/gate-closure time on *your* card. XAT's centre instructions are strict; reaching the venue at the printed exam start time is too late.
Do one route rehearsal
If the centre is unfamiliar, check travel time and a backup route. Your final week should not include a preventable logistical surprise. Keep only permitted items; XAT supplies rough sheets at the centre and the test interface includes the specified on-screen scientific calculator for QA-DI.
If the admit card date changes
Use xatonline.in as the final authority. The 20 December date is explicitly marked tentative. Do not rely on a screenshot or an old coaching article if the official dashboard shows a different release date.
Once the card is downloaded, stop administrative browsing and return to preparation: one or two final strategy rehearsals, light error-log revision and normal sleep are more valuable than repeatedly checking the portal.
Turn the date into a preparation deadline
The current planning fact is: Registration opens 15 July 2026, closes 6 December 2026; admit card is tentatively from 20 December; exam is 3 January 2027, 2–5 PM. Work backwards from the official test/administrative date: keep the last 5–7 days for strategy stabilisation and light revision, the prior two weeks for full mocks and targeted repair, and complete major concept work before that.
Also create a separate `college application` row in your calendar. Exam registration, institute application, score submission and counselling/interview stages are different actions; missing one can make a valid score useless.

Why On Your Mocks?
A mock score tells you what happened. OYM helps you understand what went wrong and what to work on next.
